DESCRIPTION

Win-ECOM is used as a direct connect communication solution i.e."computer to CNC".  Its flexible RS232 protocol utilizes existing communications ports on the PC.  It DOES NOT support remote control  or remote access activity.

Direct operator intervention is required during each phase of the data communication session.  The operator must setup both the RECEIVING device and SENDING devices. 

The software also contains many text editing tools that assist in code manipulaton and adjustments. Win-ECOM contains the basic characteristics of our more advanced E-Lan network product.

When a single computer is to be utilized for data transfer or drip feed using RS-232 communications then Win-ECOM is the ideal choice.  This software can be downloaded and installed to run on a trial basis code for fourteen days prior to purchase.

Downloading and installation is fast and simple.  Go to the "DNC Software Downloads" page (as shown on the Main Menu) and follow the instructions.  The button is located at the bottom of that page.

A simple configuration menu within the software allows for easy setup of RS-232 communication protocol.

** Win-ECOM software requires that the computer have at least one RS232 port to facilitate serial communications.  If your computer lacks an RS-232 Serial port (DB9) but has at least one USB port available it can be easily converted to RS232 using an USB to Serial Adapter.
