The e-Terminal is used when  no means of communications is available at the Shop Device.

Microsoft's Windows Operating System (98 / 2000 / NT / XP Pro) are recommended.  PC must have a Network Interface.

e-LAN combines software with hardware forming an advanced CNC communications network.

Q. How does a DNC (Distributed Numerical Control) system work?

A. Most CNC controls are basic analog devices that run pre-written program code.

The code is interpreted and signals  sent to activate drive motors moving them to a Cartesian coordinate location at a feed rate.

Other codes active auxiliary devices such as relays to operate coolant systems, tool changers, and other devices.

A CNC communicates with the outside world in most cases is via a Serial (RS-232) port.

A DNC system is typically a combination of software and hardware that, much like the CNC, interprets code it receives to trigger  events to occur within the computer.

Our DNC system, be it retrieving and storing programs, or recording the number of times an program is run on the CNC, and how long it takes (Monitoring) can fill the needs of most shops.

Communication can be either over wire and via airwaves (wireless) or a combination thereof.  Monitoring CNC activity (or inactivity) and all segments of operation is the next generation of cost control.

DNC has many uses and enhances the efficiency and operation of most manufacturing facilities with CNC in daily operations.   The level of tracking needed is up to the management but be assured that we have a product that will address the requirement.

Simplicity, adaptability, performance, and high reliability make our DNC system ideal for demanding shop environments.
